Optimal Calibration of Evaporation Models against Penman–Monteith Equation

چکیده

We present an approach for the calibration of simplified evaporation model parameters based on optimization against most complex estimation, i.e., Penman–Monteith equation. This computes from several input quantities, such as air temperature, wind speed, heat storage, net radiation etc. However, sometimes all these values are not available, therefore we must use models. Our interest in free water surface is given by need ongoing hydric reclamation former Ležáky–Most quarry, restoration land that has been mined to a natural and economically usable state. For emerging pit lakes, prediction level plays crucial role. examine methodology popular models standard statistical measures. The presented can be applied general process subject any theoretical or measured evaporation.

Automatic Calibration of HEC-HMS Model Using Multi-Objective Fuzzy Optimal Models

Estimation of parameters of a hydrologic model is undertaken using a procedure called “calibration” in order to obtain predictions as close as possible to observed values. This study aimed to use the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm for automatic calibration of the HEC-HMS hydrologic model, which includes a library of different event-based models for simulating the rainfall-runoff pr...

Optimal Significance Tests in Simultaneous Equation Models∗

Consider testing the null hypothesis that a single structural equation has specified coefficients. The alternative hypothesis is that the relevant part of the reduced form matrix has proper rank, that is, that the equation is identified. The usual linear model with normal disturbances is invariant with respect to linear transformations of the endogenous and of the exogenous variables. When the ...

Derivation of regression models for pan evaporation estimation

Evaporation is an essential component of hydrological cycle. Several meteorologicalfactors play role in the amount of pan evaporation. These factors are often related to eachother. In this study, a multiple linear regression (MLR) in conjunction with PrincipalComponent Analysis (PCA) was used for modeling of pan evaporation. After thestandardization of the variables, independent components were...
